The Department of Behavioral Health at MedChi is in search of a BE/BC Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to enhance our School Mental Health initiatives. We are looking for candidates who possess exceptional clinical expertise and interpersonal abilities, with a strong commitment to collaboration and innovative practices.
This position offers a distinctive opportunity to become a consultant psychiatrist within our affiliated school districts, conducting formal psychiatric assessments either on-site or through virtual platforms. The consultant psychiatrist will work alongside a multidisciplinary team at our Behavioral Health Center, which provides urgent evaluations and short-term crisis interventions for students in our partner districts. The clinical team comprises physicians, psychologists, mental health counselors, care coordinators, and administrative personnel. In addition to delivering clinical services to students and offering guidance to educational institutions, our team is dedicated to providing professional and community education, curricular support, and care coordination for the participating school districts.

Our outpatient services provide comprehensive behavioral health support for youth aged 5 to 21, an adolescent partial hospitalization program, and treatment for substance use disorders for both adolescents and adults.
