This is a truly unique opportunity to join the team at South Oaks providing services for our Comprehensive Outpatient Behavioral Services Program as well as care for our Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program. Responsibilities will split between both programs and include psychiatric evaluations, evidence-based treatments including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), development of recommendations for continued care and medical student education. Our team is responsive to the unique needs of children and adolescents and focused on empowering them to manage their symptoms, attain personal goals and function effectively when they re-enter the community.
South Oaks Hospital is a 202-bed behavioral health hospital located on the Nassau/Suffolk border of Long Island. For well over a century, we have established a local and national reputation for delivering high quality and compassionate care, crisis management, treatment and recovery services. Our extensive range of services for children, teens, and adults focuses on improving our patients functioning at home, work and school, and in their relationships with family, friends and others.
