MedChi, The Maryland State Medical Society is actively seeking a full-time BE/BC Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to enhance our Inpatient Psychiatry Service Line. We are looking for a dedicated professional with exceptional clinical and interpersonal abilities who can collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
This role presents a remarkable opportunity to contribute to our Inpatient Psychiatry Service Line, which is dedicated to delivering comprehensive mental health care for children aged 5-12 and adolescents. Our care team is composed of child and adolescent psychiatrists, nursing staff, pharmacists, psychiatric aides, social workers, and various therapists specializing in recreational, music, and art therapies. Key responsibilities encompass conducting psychiatric assessments, implementing evidence-based treatment modalities such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), formulating recommendations for ongoing care, and engaging in medical education for students.
