MedChi, The Maryland State Medical Society is seeking a dedicated and skilled BE/BC Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to become a vital part of our Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Inpatient Service Line. We are looking for a professional who possesses exceptional clinical abilities and interpersonal skills, with a strong commitment to collaborative practice alongside other healthcare professionals.
This role presents a unique opportunity to engage with a comprehensive inpatient service dedicated to providing high-quality psychiatric care for children aged 5-12 and adolescents. Our multidisciplinary care team includes child and adolescent psychiatrists, nursing staff, pharmacists, psychiatric attendants, social workers, and various therapists specializing in recreational, music, and art therapies. Key responsibilities encompass conducting psychiatric assessments, implementing evidence-based treatment modalities such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), formulating recommendations for ongoing care, and participating in the education of medical students.
