Job Summary:

The Sales Consultant will be responsible for marketing and selling the full line of award-winning Ricoh software solutions and document management products to customers in the marketplace.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Develop new business opportunities through outside sales and in-territory cold calling.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Communicate Woodhull's position in the industry and value to customers.
  • Effectively utilize provided technology to manage territory, including CRM applications and Excel spreadsheets via laptop.
  • Prepare and deliver effective presentations to qualified customers, including in-house and on-site product demonstrations.
  • Prepare monthly sales reports, including lease reports, prospect reports, and forecasting.
  • Take initiative to learn all facets of software and hardware solutions to become a more effective sales consultant.
  • Meet or exceed assigned sales quotas.
  • Create and maintain a written daily, weekly, monthly, and long-term activity plan.
  • Make daily calls on existing and new accounts to secure appointments.
  • Prepare and present proposals to new and existing customers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent sales and customer service skills with proven negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to travel through sales territory.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record that will allow coverage by Woodhull's insurance.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:

At least one year of outside (business to business) sales experience required.
