Job Title: Executive Meeting Manager - Catering

Hotel Equities, a leading hotel development and hospitality management company, is seeking a skilled Executive Meeting Manager - Catering to join our team at the Hilton in Harrisburg, PA.

Job Summary:

The Executive Meeting Manager - Catering is a key member of our sales and catering team, responsible for working with smaller groups and meetings in assigned markets. This role involves all aspects of the sales process, from receiving inquiry calls to confirming details and working with groups on site. The successful candidate will also assist with planning and coordinating assigned meetings and events booked by Sales Managers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Optimize room rental charges to maximize revenue.
  • Build long-term client relationships to secure repeat business.
  • Develop strong sales techniques, including closing and negotiating skills.
  • Conduct hotel site inspections and client presentations with confidence.
  • Collaborate with F&B management to create innovative menus and pricing strategies.
  • Work closely with the banquet department to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Provide overall direction and coordination of operations, with a focus on detail and execution.
  • Monitor group room blocks and generate detailed resumes for operating departments.
  • Build relationships with outside vendors to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Comply with company attendance policies.
  • Assist with planning and coordinating assigned meetings and events.
  • Prepare and send requested collateral materials to clients or guests.
Requirements:
  • High school education or equivalent required; Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2+ years of past sales or catering experience preferred.
  • Experience at a similar size and quality hotel preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Delphi preferred.
  • Knowledge of market trends, competition, and key customers preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of sales and catering skills preferred.
  • Strong time management skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to set priorities, plan, organize, and delegate.
  • Effective written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work under time constraints.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
