Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to drive growth and profitability for the business unit.
  • Evaluate financial performance and communicate significant findings and discrepancies to senior leadership.
  • Oversee the preparation and assessment of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and US GAAP for financial reporting within the division.
  • Maintain robust internal controls over accounting and financial reporting in line with SOX regulations.
  • Supervise revenue recognition during the monthly closing process.
  • Analyze and report key performance indicators to enhance business outcomes.
  • Take charge of budgeting, forecasting, and strategic business planning.
  • Encourage continuous improvement in the planning process by educating department heads on financial matters affecting their operations.
  • Assess pricing and margin proposals, providing solutions where margin challenges arise.
  • Review and negotiate terms of leases, supplier agreements, customer contracts, and other related documents.
  • Engage in acquisition analysis, due diligence, and integration into the business unit.
  • Contribute to the monthly management reporting package.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in business, accounting, or finance, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of 10 years in senior accounting and financial roles, with experience in manufacturing.
  • Experience in electronic components is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with Oracle software is advantageous.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is a plus.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving organizational goals through teamwork and leadership of indirect reports.
  • Willingness to travel internationally up to 20% of the time.
  • Advanced proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), HRIS, and various online communication tools.
