Job Overview

Brown Electrical Services is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Dispatcher to join their team.

This role involves coordinating and dispatching electrical technicians to various locations, ensuring efficient and timely completion of tasks.

About the Role
  • The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the electrical industry and possess excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with customers, technicians, and other employees to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records of dispatched calls, driver routes, and other important information.
  • Stay up-to-date with transportation regulations and laws to guarantee compliance.
  • Answer and respond to emergency and non-emergency calls, providing assistance or information as needed.
  • Prioritize calls based on urgency and availability.
  • Dispatch technicians to the correct locations, considering factors such as distance and traffic conditions.
  • Develop and modify dispatch plans to minimize costs and optimize efficiency.
  • Track and update system notes and other data in a timely manner.

Skill Requirements:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in computers and current software.
  • Able to remain calm and deliver clear instructions under pressure.
  • Familiarity with Excel, Word, and Adobe.

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
