As Electrical Field Operations Manager, you will lead a team of electricians, ensuring safe and efficient installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems on construction or maintenance projects. Your responsibilities will include project management, team supervision, quality control, safety compliance, and communication and coordination.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management:
    • Plan and schedule electrical work based on project timelines and resources.
    • Estimate labor and material needs and order necessary supplies.
    • Monitor project progress and identify potential delays.
  • Team Supervision:
    • Lead and manage a crew of electricians, including journeymen, apprentices, and helpers.
    • Assign tasks and delegate responsibilities based on skill levels.
    • Provide on-site training and guidance to ensure proper installation techniques.
  • Quality Control:
    • Conduct regular inspections to ensure work is completed according to electrical codes and specifications.
    • Identify and address any quality issues or non-compliance concerns.
    • Verify proper wiring methods and connections.
  • Safety Compliance:
    • Prioritize safety procedures on the job site.
    • Enforce safety regulations and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
    • Investigate and report any safety incidents.
  • Communication and Coordination:
    • Collaborate with other trades and project managers to coordinate work activities.
    • Maintain open communication with clients, engineers, and project stakeholders.
    • Document project details, including progress reports and daily logs.

Salary Range

The estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
