Job Summary:

At RSM Atlanta LLC, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Expert to join our team. As a Remote Restaurant Equipment Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert technical support and training in restaurant equipment and facility management services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Support: Provide expert support for electrical systems and restaurant equipment, including refrigeration units, HVAC, kitchen appliances, and temperature monitoring systems.
  • Virtual Training: Conduct training sessions for restaurant staff and technicians on the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment and facilities.
  • Troubleshooting & Diagnosis: Identify and resolve issues related to electrical and temperature control systems, offering timely and effective solutions.
  • Training Development: Create and update training materials, guides, and documentation focused on restaurant equipment and facility management, and electrical systems.
  • Remote Diagnostics: Monitor and assist with diagnostics to ensure uninterrupted operation and compliance with safety and efficiency standards.
  • Client Collaboration: Coordinate repairs and service calls with clients, minimizing downtime for restaurant operations.
  • Consultation Services: Advise on preventive maintenance, equipment upgrades, and process improvements for restaurant facilities.
  • Warranty Management: Provide guidance on warranty issues and vendor coordination to optimize equipment performance and life span.
  • Client Support: Respond to inquiries and support requests in a professional and timely manner.

Requirements:
  • Retired professional with significant experience as an Electrical Technician, Electrical Engineer, or related role in restaurant equipment and facility management.
  • Hands-on experience in managing and maintaining restaurant equipment, including refrigeration, HVAC, and kitchen appliances.
  • Proficient in temperature monitoring systems and diagnostics, especially in food service environments where temperature control is critical
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, equipment safety standards, and regulatory compliance in restaurant operations.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and procedures to restaurant staff and technicians.
  • Proven experience in developing and delivering technical training, both one-on-one and in group settings.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and provide remote support for a wide range of restaurant equipment and facilities.
  • Familiarity with remote monitoring tools and systems to proactively address maintenance and performance issues.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with flexible part-time or contract hours.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and managing inventory.

  • Flexible working hours to accommodate customer needs and training schedules.
  • Occasional travel may be required for on-site training or team meetings (if applicable).
