Job Title: Admissions Investigative Specialist

Join the Arizona Supreme Court, Administrative Office of the Courts as an Admissions Investigative Specialist, where you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of the legal profession in Arizona.

Job Summary:

The Admissions Investigative Specialist is responsible for conducting comprehensive investigations into applications for admission to the practice of law in Arizona. This role requires strong case management skills, critical analytical skills, and independent research to ensure timely processing of applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Gather, monitor, and analyze background information on applicants
  • Make informed recommendations regarding admissions
  • Provide testimony at hearings
  • Serve as staff and policy advisor to the Committee on Character and Fitness
  • Develop and deliver training for stakeholders
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in public administration, justice studies, or a related field
  • Five years of related experience
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise independent initiative and judgment on complex issues
  • Expertise in analyzing and researching subject matter of significant difficulty
