We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced leader to oversee our Children's Ministry programs. As the ideal candidate, you will have a proven track record of developing and implementing engaging children's ministry initiatives that foster spiritual growth and development in young minds.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $65,000 per year, taking into account the location and industry standards.

Job Overview

This role is responsible for providing direction and vision for Sunday school classes, overseeing all Children's Ministry staff and volunteers, and ensuring the safe and effective implementation of our programs.

We are a faith-based organization dedicated to serving families with children in 5th grade and younger by introducing them to Jesus and nurturing their relationship with God.

Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership for Children's Ministry special events, including First Communion, Jr. Daughters of the King installation, Holy Week, and parents' night out
  • Oversee Vacation Bible School, including volunteer recruitment and coordination, program design, curriculum, and budget management
  • Ensure all staff and volunteers follow Diocesan Safeguarding guidelines
  • Support, encourage, and raise up new volunteers for Children's Ministry
  • Communicate Children's Ministry programming with parents and families regularly
  • Design, select, and implement a wide range of Children's Ministry Curriculum
  • Provide pastoral leadership to parents and children
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in Children's Ministry
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Self-driven, reliable, and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of childhood development and experience designing age-appropriate faith content
