About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at UHY LLP. As an Audit Senior Staff Accountant, you will play a key role in leading and guiding our clients, as well as supporting our internal leaders with the ongoing growth in our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform and assist with audits, reviews, and compilations for clients in various industries.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements and evaluate internal controls.
  • Assist with the coordination of the day-to-day duties of planning, fieldwork, and wrap-up.
  • Develop a deep understanding of accounting and reporting standards.
  • Develop reasonable time budgets and coordinate audit requests to meet time constraints and client deadlines.
  • Interact with clients to ensure efficient information flow from the client to the audit team.
  • Communicate with clients, management, and managing directors on work status and client issues that arise.
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of experience in a relevant position.
  • Public accounting or other professional services environment preferred.
