Security Operations Coordinator

Position Overview:

The Security Operations Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the dispatch functions within the security department, ensuring the safety and security of the establishment's assets, guests, and personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage the surveillance systems, including the retrieval of video footage as necessary.
  • Document and maintain a detailed daily security log, including incidents such as theft, accidents, and safety violations.
  • Complete all required security and safety documentation accurately and promptly.
  • Serve as the primary communication point for security-related inquiries via various communication methods.
  • Respond to emergencies by contacting appropriate services and assisting in their arrival.
  • Familiarize oneself with emergency policies and procedures, executing assigned roles during alarms or emergency calls.
  • Conduct investigations into security incidents under the guidance of management.
  • Dispatch security personnel to incidents and manage patrols, ensuring adherence to the property’s conduct standards.
  • Address guest complaints and concerns with urgency and professionalism.
  • Oversee the lost and found program in accordance with established policies.
  • Engage with external entities as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent experience.

Experience: Previous experience in customer service, administration, or physical security is preferred.

Skills: Current CPR and First Aid certification, strong communication abilities, and the capacity to recognize signs of substance abuse.

Physical Requirements: The role may involve lifting, carrying, and mobility to respond to emergencies and conduct patrols.

Work Environment: Primarily indoors, with occasional outdoor responsibilities during emergencies or safety checks.
