Position Summary

As an Unarmed Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a secure environment at your designated location. Your responsibilities will encompass addressing security-related inquiries and ensuring the safety of the public. Each officer at Precision Security Team is accountable for the client’s experience and must consistently uphold our professional standards in all interactions.

Work Schedule

This position requires availability from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM for three days a week, totaling 36 hours. Specific days will be determined during the interview process. Candidates must possess a valid Denver Security Guard License or be prepared to obtain one shortly after hire.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engaging with clients, guests, and the public to ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Maintaining vigilance and situational awareness at all times.
  • Conducting regular foot patrols to monitor the premises.
  • Restricting access to unauthorized individuals.
  • Protecting the site from vandalism and theft.
  • Utilizing technology for site management, including scanning QR codes and NFC tags.
  • Assisting in emergency situations and facilitating building evacuations.
  • Documenting incidents and communicating with relevant parties as necessary.
  • Ensuring confidentiality of all site-related activities.
  • Employing de-escalation techniques to manage conflicts.
  • Exercising minimal force only when absolutely necessary for safety.
  • Maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
  • Adhering to standard operating procedures and local regulations.

Compensation

The pay rate for this position is $22.00 per hour upon obtaining the Denver Security Guard License, with an initial rate of $21.50 until the license is acquired. This is a W2 employment position, and employees working 30 or more hours per week are eligible for health benefits.

Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Successful completion of a background check.
  • Able to work the specified hours without modification.
  • Must obtain a Denver Security Guard License within two weeks of hire.
Physical Requirements

  • Frequent walking up and down stairs during shifts.
