Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate RN Clinical Coordinator to join our Emergency Department team at St. Catherine Hospital – Dodge City. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our emergency services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate clinical and departmental activities for the Emergency Department, including shift charge and departmental operations.
  • Ensure that care is delivered to each patient in accordance with quality standards and patient care standards.
  • Act as a liaison between physicians and the patient care team, maintaining effective communication and promoting cooperation with unit staff and other departments.
  • Provide input and recommendations to the director/manager on coaching, mentoring, and performance management of associates.
  • Assume responsibility and accountability for facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with the healthcare team and patients/families to identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients.
Requirements
  • Kansas RN License required; current state nursing licenses or RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact.
  • Nursing Diploma or Associates Degree in Nursing required; Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required for new graduates, preferred for experienced RNs.
  • BLS from the American Heart Association required within 8 weeks from hire.
  • ALCS from the American Heart Association required within six months of hire.
  • PALS from the American Heart Association or ENPC required within six months of hire.
  • NIHSS required within six months of hire.
  • TNCC required within six months of hire.
  • Emergency Room RN experience preferred.
  • One year RN experience.
  • Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty.
