Sales Representative Outside Sales

Wholesale Pump & Supply, Inc. is seeking an outside sales representative to join their team in the groundwater/water well pump and supply market.
This is an outside sales position that will involve selling to residential and agricultural water well drillers, pump installers, and groundwater service contractors.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, some mechanical aptitude, and the ability to excel while managing a variety of customer types.
Candidates must be able to travel in and around the central/north/eastern Arkansas, southern Missouri, and eastern Oklahoma region.
Candidates must be self-motivators and work with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
• Build strong working relationships with clients.
• Generate sales leads by cold calling and follow up on all sales leads.
• Responsible for weekly sales performance reports to the sales manager.
• Manage a sales territory and communicate sales information generated in the territory to corporate staff.
• Troubleshoot and understand pump applications and sizing.
• Must have good customer service skills, must be able to operate with minimal supervision, and communicate efficiently and effectively with clients and WPS personnel.
• Should have a working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• A clean and valid driver's license is required.
• Must be able to pass a random drug test.
Benefits
This position has a base salary with commission. The chosen candidate will be issued a company truck (for work use only), cell phone, laptop, and company credit card. Position includes health insurance, 401K, and profit sharing.
