Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Psychiatrist to join our Consultation Liaison team. As a Consultation Liaison Psychiatrist, you will work with a multidisciplinary team to provide psychiatric consultation-liaison services for patients in the acute care setting and emergency departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide psychiatric consultation-liaison services for patients in the acute care setting and emergency departments
  • Work with a multidisciplinary team to assess, diagnose, and treat patients with psychiatric conditions
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to improve patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
  • Teach and mentor psychiatry residents in a new psychiatry residency training program
Requirements
  • Completion of ACGME or AOA accredited adult psychiatry residency
  • Current ABPN board certification in psychiatry
  • Completion of ACGME accredited consultation-liaison psychiatry fellowship is a plus
