Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate closely with the organization's leadership to comprehend the business, mission, goals, and objectives
  • Acquire comprehensive insights into the corporate functions, processes, operations, and IT landscape
  • Enhance systems by analyzing current practices and designing necessary modifications
  • Uphold system protocols by drafting and revising procedures
  • Assist in identifying the necessity for, and selection of, external resources or tools
Project Responsibilities:
  • Clearly articulate project objectives and scope
  • Complete project management documentation adhering to established standards
  • Track project progress and address issues as they arise
  • Engage with stakeholders to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Gather and analyze business requirements
  • Communicate efficiently with clients and deliver required documentation
  • Manage project intake and update project status accordingly
  • Collaborate with technical teams and subject matter experts
  • Oversee system testing plans and their implementation
  • Document requirements and workflows meticulously
  • Assist with application testing as needed
  • Perform additional assigned tasks
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Business, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in business and systems analysis
  • 3-5 years of project management experience
  • Strong analytical and project management capabilities
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
Preferred Qualifications:
  • PMI certification
  • Agile or Scrum certification
  • Understanding of systems engineering concepts
  • Experience with various project methodologies
  • Familiarity with project tracking and test management software
  • Experience with web-based applications
  • Knowledge of relational database technologies
  • User Acceptance Testing experience
  • Effective people management skills
  • Experience in educational institutions is advantageous
Technical Environment:

The IT landscape at Georgia IT Inc encompasses .NET, SharePoint, Java, AS/400 with SQL Server, Postgres, and DB2 database backends.

Project Management Methodologies:
Agile/Scrum and Waterfall.
