We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Quality and Patient Safety to join our team at Emory Healthcare. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing oversight, direction, and coordination of quality and patient safety initiatives across our entity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to and execute strategic planning for the entity to achieve the Emory Healthcare vision
- Partner with entity executives, directors, and department leaders to continuously improve clinical outcomes and reduce risk
- Oversee the effectiveness and efficiency of infection control, regulatory accreditation, patient safety, medical staff quality, clinical quality analytics, and data reporting
- Support the entity's performance improvement program and patient safety culture
Requirements:
- Masters degree from an accredited college or university in Nursing, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Industrial and Systems Engineering, or other quality-related field
- Seven years of experience in healthcare quality and accreditation, including three years of leadership experience
