Job Title: Medical Assisting Program Chair

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Medical Assisting Program Chair to join our team at MDT Institute. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our Medical Assisting program, ensuring it meets the highest standards of quality and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement program curriculum, ensuring alignment with industry standards and accreditation requirements.
  • Lead and manage a team of faculty members, providing guidance and support to ensure effective teaching and learning.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including students, clinical agencies, and advisory boards, to ensure program relevance and effectiveness.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners, ensuring opportunities for student externships and employment.
  • Monitor and evaluate program performance, making data-driven decisions to improve student outcomes and program effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a related field, such as Medical Assisting or Education.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a healthcare setting, with a minimum of 1 year of direct patient care experience in an ambulatory healthcare setting.
  • Current medical assistant registration or certification through a nationally recognized and accredited certifying agency.
  • CPR certification through the American Heart Association.
