Per Diem Clinical Nurse-Mount Sinai Hospital- MICU

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Per Diem Clinical Nurse to join our team at Mount Sinai Hospital's MICU. As a Per Diem Clinical Nurse, you will provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
Responsibilities:- Deliver patient care based on nursing theory and research, incorporating the principles of Relationship Centered Care.
- Assess and evaluate patient care needs, applying critical thinking skills to manage patient care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop, implement, and evaluate the plan of care.
- Prioritize patient care, including teaching, rounding, coaching, and planning after hospital care, while delegating tasks to others as needed.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, family, and the Interdisciplinary Patient Care Team.
- Current registration in New York State as a Registered Professional Nurse.
- Basic Life Saver (BLS) certification.
- Relevant clinical competence in the area of nursing practice assigned.
