Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct radiographic procedures using advanced equipment and techniques.
  • Assess examination quality, appropriateness, and results to ensure accuracy and patient safety.
  • Educate patients and families about procedures and provide emotional support.
  • Supervise student technologists and prioritize work assignments for self and others.
  • Maintain accurate records and assist in the maintenance of images and other records.
  • Respond to emergency situations and prioritize patient care.

Requirements:
  • ARRT registration in Radiology within 1 month of hire.
  • Current registry with the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) within 1 month of hire.
  • Two years' experience in radiology preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of radiation protection, physics, positioning, and image critique.
  • Extensive computer literacy, including CR, PACS, and HIS systems.
