About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Authorization Coordinator to join our team at Enhabit Home Health & Hospice. As an Authorization Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our patients receive the necessary authorizations for their care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide accurate and complete data input for precertification requests
  • Verify insurance information and obtain authorizations as required by each insurance company
  • Work closely with branch staff to ensure adequate coordination and transition
  • Verify Medicare eligibility and ensure accuracy of Medicare number in the patient record
  • Assist with in-network agencies if insurance is out-of-network
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Two years of college or professional school preferred
  • One year of third-party eligibility verification experience preferred
  • One year of experience in insurance authorizations preferred
  • One year of experience with ICD-10, CPT codes, or HCPCS preferred
