Join Our Team as a Licensed Mental Health Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Professional to join our team at UnityPoint Health. As a key member of our multidisciplinary care team, you will provide outpatient psychotherapy to individuals and families, working closely with our physicians and nursing team to deliver exceptional patient care.

About the Role

This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, with a 40-hour workweek. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of clinical populations, including children, adolescents, and adults, and will be expected to complete an average of 26 sessions per week.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment planning for clients assigned
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure continuity of care
  • Make referrals based on screening protocols and assessed needs of clients
  • Participate in organizational Quality Improvement activities
  • Comply with Corporate Compliance processes and complete required documentation and record keeping in a timely manner
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW), Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT), Mental Health Counseling (MHC), or Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) or equivalent. You must be licensed or able to complete licensing requirements to provide outpatient therapy services in the state of Iowa. Independent license is preferred, but temporary licensed providers are also welcome to apply.
