Position Summary:

The Logistics Operations Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting the material recovery route operations. This position involves effective communication and coordination among various teams, including Customer Service Representatives, Sales, and Drivers. The Coordinator will ensure that all administrative and billing tasks are executed with precision and accuracy.

Compensation: $25-$27/HR based on experience

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor daily material inventories and report findings to the Commodities Group.
  • Maintain a comprehensive and accurate customer information database.
  • Develop daily route plans for drivers.
  • Track and manage commodity shipments utilizing the IFS system.
  • Oversee the completion of monthly billing cycles and bridge reports.
  • Input data and finalize any outstanding service executions not recorded in the MHX system.
  • Facilitate the generation of order numbers for delivery processes.
  • Verify Driver Pick Up Information against Unload Data.
  • Conduct audits on processes and unloads of third-party processors to ensure accuracy.
  • Communicate route assignments and equipment allocations to drivers for the next day.
  • Ensure that the driver and break room areas are kept organized and tidy.
  • Manage the tracking and ordering of necessary office supplies.
  • Provide drivers with essential daily paperwork and communications.
  • Maintain effective communication with customer service teams, customer accounts, and drivers.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate the ability to fulfill essential duties effectively. The following qualifications are essential:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Experience or knowledge in transportation is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 2 years of clerical or administrative experience is required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications is necessary.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
