Member Service Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Member Service Representative to join our team at First Financial Credit Union. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members, promoting our products and services, and contributing to the overall success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide information to members and prospective members on all credit union accounts, services, and products.
- Interview members to obtain accurate, complete documentation for loans and other credit union services.
- Process loan disbursements, prepare and assemble loan documents, and forward completed loan packages to the Loan department in a timely manner.
- Meet with members to resolve problems, research accounts, and ensure quick resolution.
- Perform various clerical duties, including answering telephone calls, receiving visitors, copying and collating documents, faxing, preparing routine correspondence, and ordering office supplies.
- Operate a computer terminal to open/close accounts, verify balances, and resolve related member issues.
- Develop and maintain sales, member service, and product skills through active participation in and successful completion of online training programs.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to exercise good judgment to make sound decisions and take initiative.
- Ability to navigate multiple screens, PC applications, and adapt to new technology.
- Ability to multitask and strong organizational skills.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook calendar/email.
