We are seeking a highly skilled Dietitian to join our team at NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan. As a key member of our WIC Program, you will be responsible for providing nutrition assessments, education, and counseling to participants from diverse age groups.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct participant-centered nutrition assessments and provide education and counseling to WIC participants.
- Assist in planning and implementing the Language Access and Nutrition Education component of the WIC Program.
- Participate in Performance Improvement activities and contribute to the Interdisciplinary Team.
- Baccalaureate degree in Dietetics or Foods and Nutrition from an accredited college or university.
- Registration or eligibility for registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) as a Registered Dietitian or New York State Certification as a Dietitian-Nutritionist.
