Registered Nurse II/III

The County of Riverside is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse II/III to join our team at the Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, organize, and provide nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with physician instructions.
- Administer prescribed treatment and medications, including dispensing, as ordered to patients.
- Counsel and advise patients, families, and significant others regarding special medical problems and/or proper healthcare methods.
- Prepare and maintain concise and complete records and reports.
- Provide orientation and training to new staff, residents, medical students, and nursing students.
- Participate in quality assurance reviews and act as a team leader or relief charge nurse.
- Assign and monitor the work of subordinate nursing personnel.
- Triage patients by reviewing admission charts and merging patients into the appropriate patient assignment or clinic flow when appropriate.
- A current and valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of California.
- A current and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, issued by the American Heart Association.
- Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) provider certification required within 6 months of hire.
The Registered Nurse II/III will work in a fast-paced healthcare environment, providing care to patients with a variety of medical conditions. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment, communicate effectively with patients and staff, and maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
