The EA Digital Platform (EADP) is the foundation of EA's global ecosystem, supporting various high-level platforms such as Cloud, Commerce, Data, AI, Gameplay Services, Identity, and Social. As the gaming industry transitions to a live service model, creating an engaging advertising experience and connecting relevant brands with players is vital for EA's success. The AdTech team within EADP is focused on developing innovative solutions that improve the management of the advertising lifecycle through efficient, scalable, and reliable services.

In the role of Senior Software Engineer, you will lead initiatives in EA AdTech and Platform Engineering, reporting directly to the Senior Engineering Director.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance advertising workflows
  • Assess integration opportunities among live service solutions, technology stacks, and vendor offerings
  • Lead the creation of essential components in the advertising lifecycle
  • Leverage large datasets to inform data-driven decision-making
  • Work with various teams to understand use cases and implement comprehensive solutions
  • Ensure adherence to legal and privacy regulations
  • Drive strategic vision and contribute industry expertise to the team
  • Design technical solutions and oversee roadmap development
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering
  • Expertise in live services, personalization, AdTech, and related areas
  • Demonstrated experience managing large-scale services with high performance and reliability
  • Proficiency in algorithms, data structures, and software design principles
  • Experience in building distributed systems at scale
  • Familiarity with cloud architectures and data processing systems
  • Proven track record of delivering impactful customer experiences
