We are seeking an exceptional Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Nobu Downtown. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and maintaining the highest standards of service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, including staff scheduling, delegating tasks, and supervising service.
  • Work closely with staff, chefs, and other managers to ensure guests have extraordinary experiences.
  • Assist in the training, mentoring, supervision, and motivation of team members.
  • Assist in hiring, coaching, disciplining, counseling, and conducting performance reviews.
  • Adhere to and enforce cash management systems and ensure safety management protocols are in place.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of restaurant management experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Positive, energetic, punctual, and reliable.
  • Calm under pressure: must have the ability to problem solve, trouble shoot, effectively prioritize work and assignments, and accurately meet deadlines.
  • Experience in upscale and/or Japanese restaurant is a plus.
  • High school diploma or higher preferred.
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Experience working with Micros Symphony and/or OpenTable a plus.
