Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Operations Vault Cash Handler to join our team at First Horizon Bank. As a key member of our Operations team, you will be responsible for managing service quality, processing commercial deposits, and maintaining cash inventory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Service Quality: Ensure exceptional service is provided to internal and external customers.
  • Process Commercial Deposits: Accurately process commercial deposits delivered via armored car.
  • Maintain Cash Inventory: Balance total cash on hand daily, prioritize work to maximize currency passing through the vault, and sell currency and coin to the Federal Reserve teller.
  • Meet Deadlines: Ensure all deadlines are met, and balance, strap, and bundle currency inventory daily.
  • Follow Department Policies: Adhere to all department policies, procedures, and control teller losses.
  • Monitor Performance: Maintain Epic Performance Standards, report all teller activity on the Epic Performance tracking report, and use reports to keep within goals set for PEG and cash on hand totals.
  • Meet ICM Cash Target Goals: Maintain ICM Cash Target Goals.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or GED.
  • Experience: Previous cash handling experience.
  • Skills: Working knowledge of standard PC application software (Excel, Word, Outlook, Windows), working knowledge of banking equipment, and knowledge of bank transactions.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift more than 50 pounds, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and ability to monitor several tasks at one time.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work in a highly secured area under constant surveillance.
