We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Cash Application Specialist.

This role is responsible for providing general and clerical administrative support to the trust department, relieving them of clerical, administrative, and business details.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be proficient in computer software systems, and have a strong understanding of business principles.

Responsibilities include:

  • Responding to routine customer and internal account inquiries, performing necessary research, and following up in a timely manner
  • Communicating with clients and internal partners regarding account openings, closings, asset transfers, and fees
  • Creating and maintaining proper account documentation and files account-related material according to the prescribed system in a timely manner
  • Performing standard account monitoring and notifying leadership when overdrafts or large balances are discovered
  • Adhering to all internal and external regulatory requirements, standards, guidelines, policies, and procedures

This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime for hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Accurate typing, spelling, and grammar skills are essential for this role, as well as a Bachelor's degree in a business-related field.
