Key Responsibilities
  • Operate machinery and equipment according to MIOSHA standards and company procedures using required safety equipment.
  • Inspect components and assemblies visually for quality defects, including scrap marks, rust, burrs, lamination, etc.
  • Measure parts to ensure they meet specifications and perform first piece inspection of set-up parts as required.
  • Record and report production, quality, and inventory information accurately.
  • Label and/or tag parts and baskets accurately.
Requirements
  • High school Diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education or experience.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence and effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
