Job Title: Medical Records Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Medical Records Coordinator to join our team at The Oncology Institute of Hope and Innovation. As a Medical Records Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of patient records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and verify patient demographic and personal information
  • Issue medical files to authorized personnel and agencies
  • Conduct departmental audits and investigations
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with TOI procedures
  • Ensure patient confidentiality and data security
  • File and retrieve patient records as needed
  • Provide administrative support to the nursing department

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Advanced understanding of medical terminology and administrative processes
  • Proficient in information management programs and MS Office
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish

Pay Transparency: The estimated salary range for this position is $17-$19 USD per hour.
