Educational Background:
Candidate must hold a bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline, or possess a minimum of five (5) years of experience in managing and troubleshooting Advanced Active Directory, advanced Microsoft Server (including Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and services such as advanced SQL), Advanced Scripting (PowerShell), Advanced Storage Area Networks (NetApp), and Advanced Enterprise Configuration Management (MECM).
Training and Experience:
- Must have industry-recognized certifications such as Microsoft AZ-900, AZ-103, AZ-203, AZ-300, AZ-301.
- Instructor qualification is required: must possess a Common Faculty Developer-Instructor Course (CFD-IC) certification that is less than five (5) years old. Contract instructors not properly CFD-IC qualified must complete the course upon contract award.
Core Competencies:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to convey curriculum effectively to students ensuring mutual understanding.
- Knowledge and skills to instruct on RMF, CASP, Scripting (PowerShell), both basic and advanced Microsoft Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Exchange; proficiency in teaching basic and advanced Database Server (SQL), SharePoint, and Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM), as well as Storage Area Networks (NetApp).
Technical Proficiencies:
- Ability to perform office automation tasks including word processing, email management, spreadsheets, presentations, and other personal computer applications; adept at typing various materials from rough drafts to final versions, including correspondence, reports, and forms; maintaining records and reference libraries of training materials, regulations, and other relevant publications.
- Familiarity with knowledge management applications such as Training Development Capabilities (TDC), SharePoint, and Blackboard.
Security Clearance:
Must possess and maintain a Tier 1 investigation clearance.
Responsibilities
- Support instructional modules as outlined in the Program of Instruction (POI).
- Develop educational materials including syllabi, assignments, quizzes, and examinations to enhance classroom instruction.
- Review all relevant student study materials, written assessments, performance evaluations, training aids, and digital resources; recommend modifications and obtain approval from the Course Manager prior to implementation.
- Provide constructive feedback on instructional materials and lessons necessary for teaching the approved tasks, conditions, and standards.
- Administer written assessments according to the approved course training schedule.
- Coordinate with the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) for the use of any non-standard government-owned equipment required for student exercises or labs.
- Propose adjustments to the POI as necessary and provide a final annual report to the COR.
- Facilitate retraining for any test failures and oversee make-up examinations as per the Course Management Plan.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
