Job Title: Team Lead - Field Sales

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Team Lead - Field Sales to join our team at MessageBird. As a key member of our sales leadership team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of high-performing Account Executives, driving revenue growth, and fostering a culture of excellence within the field sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership and Coaching: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Account Executives, providing ongoing support, coaching, and performance management. Set clear goals and expectations for the team, ensuring consistent execution and quota attainment. Conduct regular team meetings, one-on-ones, and performance reviews to drive continuous improvement.
  • Field Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement sales strategies to capture new business in the field, focusing on high-impact deals and long-term relationships. Work with the team to identify key opportunities in the market and create tailored approaches for each prospect. Ensure that each team member is aligned with MessageBird's sales methodologies and effectively navigating complex sales cycles.
  • Revenue Growth and Quota Management: Own the team's revenue targets and ensure consistent achievement of quotas. Monitor team performance, providing real-time feedback and making adjustments to improve overall results.
  • Collaboration Across Teams: Work closely with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to ensure alignment on go-to-market strategy, customer feedback, and product improvements. Collaborate with other team leads to share best practices and insights that contribute to MessageBird's overall success.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of field sales experience, with a proven track record of exceeding targets and delivering results.
  • 2+ years of leadership experience managing sales teams and driving performance.
  • Strong understanding of complex sales cycles and experience in managing multi-stakeholder deals.
  • Excellent communication and coaching skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms (MessageBird preferred) and pipeline management tools.
