Quality Assurance Lead

The Quality Assurance Lead is responsible for ensuring that manufacturing processes and procedures are adhered to in order to ensure the quality of products. This includes visually inspecting or manually testing products or processes, as well as running and monitoring inspection equipment and recording and analyzing quality data.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect products or processes to ensure they meet customer specifications and requirements
- Review and implement corrective actions derived from customer complaints, customer returns, and/or non-conformances found and their root causes
- Train and coach team members in specific job roles to ensure work is performed as expected for safety, quality, and production deadlines
- Perform time studies and/or process evaluations for recommended improvements
- A.S. degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience in production, packing, TransPak operations
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in the English language
- Ability to attend/provide training and implement concepts learned during that training
The majority of the work performed will be done on the production floor, including physical requirements and mental alertness for forklifts, pneumatic tools, and other hazards.
This job requires travel to various sites, including Oregon, Washington, California, Texas, Mexico, and Asia.
