Job Overview

The Senior Manager of Executive Content and Strategic Initiatives plays a pivotal role within the Office of the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), directly reporting to the Senior Director of Executive Strategy.

This position is responsible for crafting strategic communications, thought leadership, and content tailored for CCO communications, while also spearheading strategic initiatives aimed at engaging, educating, and influencing various external stakeholders on a global scale.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Writing and Initiatives:
Produce, refine, and enhance persuasive and impactful content across multiple platforms, specifically designed for senior executives. Adapt and modify existing materials to maintain consistency and relevance within the industry, effectively capturing the voice of ServiceNow's senior leadership.

Formulate narratives and coordinate strategic initiatives that clearly convey our industry-specific value propositions, customer success stories, and strategic objectives.

Provide strategic insights to the OCCO and other cross-functional teams to shape the CCO's external positioning, including interactions with analysts and media, as well as select customer events.

Thought Leadership Development:
Collaborate closely with the Executive Communications team to establish and implement a unified communication strategy that aligns with the CCO's commercial goals and priorities, addressing pertinent thought leadership topics and overarching market trends.

Assist the CCO in positioning ServiceNow as a leader in the industry by generating high-quality strategic writing, thought leadership, and insights for external communications, including event narratives, keynote speeches, and articles. Utilize data analytics to assess communication efforts and develop best practices for continuous improvement.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:
Lead various company-wide initiatives and foster strong internal collaboration with cross-functional teams, such as Executive Communications and Executive Marketing, to ensure the CCO is thoroughly prepared for external engagements, delivering messages that resonate with diverse audiences.

Work in partnership with senior leaders in the OCCO to thoughtfully prioritize, streamline, and coordinate CCO content and writing, maximizing commercial objectives and cultivating robust relationships with key external stakeholders, including analysts and industry influencers.
