Job Summary

The Hispanic Technology Executive Council is seeking a highly skilled Digital Content Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Communications team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our digital content strategy, working closely with senior leadership and partners across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive our digital content strategy, ensuring alignment with our core communications goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Digital Content and Social Media to advance our digital content initiatives.
  • Act as day-to-day lead for content on our digital channels, liaising between technology and communications stakeholders to make regular content updates and support core initiatives.
  • Lead editorial strategy on our newsroom, ensuring high-quality content that engages our audience.
  • Collaborate with technology, platform, and agency partners to manage enhancements for both day-to-day functionality and larger strategic initiatives.
  • Provide guidance and counsel on content distribution, ensuring our message reaches the right audience.
  • Work with stakeholders to create custom web experiences surrounding key events and activations, balancing new requests against existing priorities and firmwide initiatives.
  • Assist in sourcing and developing creative assets for optimal use and performance across channels, partnering with creative and media teams when needed.
  • Support digital and social media elements of live and virtual live events in partnership with PR, production, and digital teams.
  • Use metrics reports and monitoring to continually adapt and improve our web presence.
  • Stay up-to-date on new trends, best practices, and opportunities in the digital space, identifying white space and opportunities for the Hispanic Technology Executive Council.
  • Be a steward of our brand voice, ensuring consistency across business units and activations.
  • Partner closely with Communications leadership and teams to inform and advise on both ongoing communications work and areas of opportunity.
  • Assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for our reputation and safeguarding our clients and assets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business management, communications, marketing, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of communications or marketing and experience of increased responsibility, preferably with a large and complex organization.
  • Experience distilling complex subject matter into easily-understood digital content.
  • Strong understanding of web content and optimizing user experience.
  • Experience interfacing and collaborating with individuals in technical roles.
  • Aptitude for developing and shaping compelling content for internal and external audiences.
  • Ability to adapt copy across social and digital channels.
  • Knowledge and ability to apply fundamentals of Search Engine Optimization.
  • Subject matter expertise in social media platforms and trends.
  • Knowledge of social media channels and platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, X, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
  • Familiarity with content management tools such as Sprinklr.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • A leader who will implement initiatives effectively and proactively drive projects forward.
  • Strong communications (written, verbal, and interpersonal) skills, including tact, diplomacy, and ability to influence senior executives.
  • Integrity, maturity, dependability, a positive professional attitude.
  • A team player who will implement initiatives effectively and motivate others to carry out their work.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Experience or demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-based environment within a heavily matrixed organization.
  • Track record of success in delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

What We Offer

The Hispanic Technology Executive Council offers a competitive salary range of $129,000 to $194,760.00, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k), life, accident, and disability insurance, and wellness programs. We also offer paid time off packages, including planned time off (vacation), unplanned time off (sick leave), and paid holidays.
