Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Aid Supervisor to join our team at InsideHigherEd. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial aid process, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, and providing leadership and guidance to staff members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage a team of financial aid staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of financial aid services.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, as well as district policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of financial aid services.
  • Provide training and professional development opportunities to staff members to enhance their knowledge and skills in financial aid.
  • Monitor and analyze financial aid data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve financial aid processes and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in Business or other related field.
  • Three years of related experience in financial aid, with at least two years of supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of federal and state regulations pertaining to financial aid, as well as district policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff members, students, and other stakeholders.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position, with a salary range of $61,049.22 - $80,101.87 annually. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
