About the Role

Baptist Health is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to join our team in Lexington, KY. This role will involve coordinating patient care in compliance with local, state and federal guidelines and regulations through IRB-approved protocol requirements.

The successful candidate will have developing or basic knowledge of clinical trial research, hospital experience and the ability to work collaboratively with individuals associated with patient care. They will also collaborate with investigators, research staff and other stakeholders to conduct clinical trial coordination per protocol.

Requirements:

  • A graduate degree from an accredited professional nursing program, BSN preferred, ADN with applicable experience.
  • OCN certification upon completion of 1 year in the research department.
  • 2 years of clinical experience in research focus area.
  • BLS/ACLS/PALS and dysrhythmia class as required by department of assignment.
  • Proficiency with computer systems including Excel, Word, electronic data systems and electronic medical records.
  • Clinical Research Coordinator Certification through SoCRA or ACRP within 1 year of eligibility.

Salary Estimate:

$55,000 - $65,000 per annum, based on location and experience.
