Clinical Laboratory Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and interpret tests as ordered by physicians, following approved departmental procedures and regulatory guidelines.
- Determine if test results meet quality control program requirements and repeat tests as necessary to ensure accurate results.
- Utilize complex problem-solving skills to resolve clinical and instrument issues.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology or a related science field.
- Certification in clinical laboratory science by recognized certifying agencies, to be achieved within one year of hire.
- Membership in a professional organization is highly desirable.
