We are seeking a highly skilled Broadcast Studio Engineer to join our team at General Dynamics Information Technology. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for our broadcast studio systems, ensuring seamless operations and high-quality production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and maintenance for broadcast studio systems, including equipment installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Ensure studio system uptime and availability for time-sensitive production requests.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to ensure system availability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement technical solutions.
- Provide training and documentation to ensure knowledge transfer and continuity.
- Research and evaluate new technologies and equipment to recommend upgrades and improvements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as broadcast engineering or telecommunications.
- At least 15 years of experience in broadcast engineering, with 5-8 years of experience in a leadership or technical support role.
- Strong technical skills, including broadcast studio production engineering, network engineering, and systems maintenance.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- US citizenship required.
