SUMMARYThis role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and managing the overall service of assigned clients and/or policies, as well as pursuing new business opportunities on existing accounts and supporting Producer-led new business initiatives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Identifies the needs of prospective and current clients through thorough exposure analysis;
- Develops tailored program designs to address the identified needs of prospects and clients;
- Prepares and submits marketing submissions for new and renewal business in collaboration with the Producer;
- Creates insurance summaries and proposals as required;
- Communicates binding coverage requests to the insurance carrier and issues or obtains binders;
- Ensures the accuracy of issued policies, endorsements, etc.;
- Requests necessary policy changes and corrections, processing endorsements upon receipt;
- Issues insurance certificates, binders, and evidence of insurance as needed;
- Conducts client and prospect visits as necessary;
- Provides account servicing and claims assistance as required;
- Completes applications, obtains quotes, and prepares proposals and presentations;
- Binds coverage, prepares binders, and delegates certificates;
- Reviews coverage and determines the appropriate level of coverage;
- Reviews client accounting history, addresses accounting inquiries, corrects discrepancies, and contacts clients regarding receivable collections;
- Manages overall client relationships to maintain a high account retention rate;
- Oversees the renewal process for existing business;
- May involve the collection of fees, reconciliation, and resolution of outstanding balances;
- Adheres to agency management system data standards and ensures data integrity;
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience in the insurance sector. A valid insurance license is required, and candidates must continue to meet Continuing Education requirements for license renewal.

- Outstanding customer service skills, including telephone and listening capabilities;
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective time management;
- Advanced planning and prioritization skills;
- Proficient problem-solving and analytical skills;
- Able to work collaboratively within a team and foster teamwork;
- Ability to maintain cordial and effective relationships with clients, colleagues, carriers, and other business contacts;
- Thorough knowledge of personal lines insurance;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
