The Department of Psychiatry at the University of California, San Francisco invites applications for a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Attending Psychologist position. This role will be filled at the Instructor to Full Professor level in a series commensurate with experience, with an anticipated start date of July 2025, or thereafter.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will serve as a Child and Adolescent Attending Psychologist, engaging in innovation and continual improvements in clinical and educational programs. They will also engage in clinical scholarship, participate in teaching, supervision, and assessment of trainees, and collaborate with training program directors in clinical curricular development for medical students, residents, psychology interns, postdoctoral fellows, and/or graduate students in a variety of disciplines.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have completed a PhD or PsyD, with pre- and post-doctoral training in child and adolescent psychology or a related field. They must be licensed to practice psychology in California at the time of appointment and in good standing. The candidate should demonstrate clinical and educational expertise in child and adolescent psychology, as well as the ability to teach and supervise. They should also have a demonstrated interest in working effectively with diverse populations, including children and families from different racial, ethnic, socioeconomic, linguistic, gender, sexual orientation, and religious backgrounds.

The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. The minimum base salary range for this position is $102,600-$309,800. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan, which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.
