Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Principals, senior staff, and the marketing team to develop and produce proposals, presentations, and other marketing materials that align with Gensler's brand standards.
  • Manage the scheduling, production, and delivery of marketing materials, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Participate actively in strategy and planning sessions to contribute to the development of business development initiatives.
  • Develop new marketing materials as needed to support business development activities, leveraging the firm's portfolio of work, practice areas, and broad capabilities.
  • Manage multiple marketing efforts against tight deadlines, prioritizing tasks and resources to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date on Gensler's portfolio of work, practice areas, and broad firm capabilities to provide informed insights and recommendations.
  • Maintain accurate records and resources, including project documentation, resumes, and other relevant information.
  • Assist with event coordination, including management of Salesforce campaigns, to support business development initiatives.
  • Maintain the accuracy of client contact information in Salesforce, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned by senior staff and marketing specialists.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of professional experience in a design or professional services firm, preferably in a marketing or business development role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong focus on grammatical accuracy and clarity.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with senior staff and marketing specialists.
  • Experience working directly with senior staff on business-critical projects with minimal supervision, demonstrating independence and initiative.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and diverse project teams in a fast-paced work environment, prioritizing tasks and resources to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Ability to provide thought leadership and recognize competitive advantage opportunities for Gensler, leveraging these into marketing pitches.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign) is a must.
  • Ability to maintain and foster positive team and co-worker relationships, promoting a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
