Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care Unit team. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing specialized care to adult patients with diverse medical conditions, including neurological, cardiovascular, and gastrointestinal issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular assessments every 2 to 4 hours for each patient to ensure their needs are met.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care and support to patients and their families.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest medical advancements and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).
  • Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 90 days of hire.
