Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care Unit team at Mercy. As a PCU RN, you will provide specialized care to adult patients with diverse medical conditions, including neurological, cardiovascular, and gastrointestinal issues.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular assessments every 2 to 4 hours for each patient to ensure their needs are met.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to address the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).
- Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
- ACLS, basic dysrhythmia interpretation, NIHSS, and ASLS certifications required within 90 days of hire.
