Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacist to join our team at Summa Health System. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective preparation and use of medications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct practice of pharmacy in accordance with federal and state laws and regulations, as well as hospital policy and procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing evaluations to ensure quality patient care.
  • Work collaboratively with patient care team members to consolidate work, solve problems, and create new methods to reduce costs.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in meeting environmental constraints and demands placed on services.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or PharmD in pharmacy.
  • Current licensure in the State of Ohio.
  • Working knowledge of pharmacy law.
  • Dexterity to operate a computer terminal, calculator, and other office equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with pharmacists, nurses, technical physicians, and other healthcare personnel.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient and department records.
  • Ability to self-direct and execute responsibilities within a team structure.
Compensation

The salary range for this position is $59.41/hr - $71.29/hr. Please note that this range is base salary exclusive of any bonuses or differentials.

Many factors, such as years of relevant experience and geographical location, are considered when determining the starting rate of pay. We believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members when determining offers.
